The city faced some flooding dangers Sunday, with parts of New York getting soaked.

A flood advisory was in effect for the city Sunday afternoon. The National Weather Service warned of heavy rainfall and says minor flooding was possible in areas that are low-lying or have poor drainage.

People are urged not to drive through roadways that are covered by water.

Expect any leftover wet weather to come to an end Sunday night and skies to become partly cloudy towards morning. Temperatures will drop to 40 degrees.

A mix of sun and clouds are in store for Monday, but it will be breezy and a bit colder. Highs will reach 46 degrees.
