Police are investigating an early morning shooting in the Bronx Thursday that left a teenage boy dead.

The NYPD says 16-year-old Sincear Williams and 17-year-old boy were leaving a Sweet Sixteen party when someone opened fire near Kinsella Street and Bronxdale Avenue around 1 a.m. Thursday .

Williams was hit in the neck and died at the hospital.

The other teen was hit in the arm and is being treated for his injury.

Police say a dark-colored sedan fled the scene after the shooting.
