A Westchester man has been arrested after police in the Bronx say he tried to lure a young girl into his car before crashing it into a school bus earlier this week.

Investigators say Jeremy Goldberg, 28, of Scarsdale, has been charged with luring a child, reckless endangerment, and leaving the scene of an accident.

It happened around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say the 12-year old girl was walking along the north-bound Henry Hudson Parkway service road near 246th Street in Fieldston when a black four-door sedan approached her.

Police say when the man motioned to her to enter the vehicle, she ran to nearby FDNY Engine 52 Ladder 52.

Several firefighters then ran out to confront Goldberg, who was still in the car.

Investigators say as they tried to get him out, he reversed the vehicle and crashed into a parked, occupied school bus and drove off.

There were no injuries to anyone on the school bus.

A 32-year-old firefighter at the scene was treated for injuries to his right hand at Jacobi Hospital.

Detectives with the 50th precinct say they were able to track Goldberg back to his Scasrdale address where he was taken into custody.
