LOUISIANA — Heaven Ray Cox was found in Louisiana on Thursday after the Orange County Sheriff's Office received a tip.

The sheriff’s office said she was safe and reunited with her mother, Tammy Cox, around 7 p.m. Thursday evening. Heaven was located at a residence belonging to the relative of an acquaintance, according to information from the department.

The sheriff's office said as they continue to investigate more information will become available. Criminal charges have not been ruled out.

Police are asking for help to find a missing Texas 15-year-old believed to be with an adult male.   

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is working with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department to find Heaven Cox.

Heaven was last seen in Orange, Texas, on Nov. 26. Investigators said she is most likely with a man she met online and might be in need of medical attention.

The missing teen has blonde hair, brown eyes, is 5-foot-3-inches tall and weighs 113 pounds. She also has a diamond nose stud.

Heaven's mother posted on Facebook pleading for help to find her missing daughter. According to the mother, Heaven met the man through Snapchat and left a note for her parents saying she was leaving without a phone.
