A re-launched Bronx bakery is bringing the familiar smell of bread back to the borough.

Zaro's has a new store on Metropolitan Avenue in Parkchester.

That's just a half-mile away from the original location on Hugh Grant Circle.

Owners were forced to close that store in 2015 after a lease dispute.

Neighbors say they're excited to have the store back in their area.

"I've been going to Zaro's since I was young, my grandfather's actually gone before I was born so it's really something that we've had in the family for a while," said one.

"I'm thanking God for Zaro's return to Parkchester," said another. "Happy, happy day."

To celebrate re-opening, Zaro's is donating 25 percent of all of Wednesday's sales to hurricane relief in Puerto Rico.
