Satellites provide an incredible view of planet Earth, making it possible to see weather, agricultural patterns, and life as it changes.

After studying such satellite images for 20 years, NASA scientists report they now have the most complete global picture of life ever created, and you can watch it in the form of a new time lapse movie.

In the above video, our Burton Fitzsimmons speaks with Dr. Compton Tucker, NASA Earth Scientist, about the time lapse and how NASA uses satellite data to study the planet.
