A man is facing attempted murder charges in connection with a hit and run crash in Queens.

Police say it happened Tuesday night at about 8 p.m. on Jackson Avenue and 23rd Street in Long Island City.

Investigators say Keith Richard, 50, was driving a Dodge Caravan when he allegedly got into an argument with a group of teenagers.

Police say Richard made a U-Turn on 23rd Street, then drove onto the sidewalk to apparently target the teens.

As they ran away, Richard allegedly followed the teens with his car, hitting a 17-year-old boy and speeding off.

The teen was taken to the hospital with injuries to his head and body.

Richard was arrested Wednesday near the scene.

He is also being charged with vehicular assault, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident.
