Police are looking for a man they say raped and robbed a woman at knifepoint in Central Park.

They say the man seen above approached the 35-year-old victim around 9 p.m. Monday near West 110th Street and Lenox Avenue and offered to walk her home.

While walking in the park, he allegedly took out a knife, assaulted and raped her, and took her purse.

He's described as about 30 years old, 190 pounds and with black hair.

Police say he was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, tan pants and brown shoes, and was carrying a black bookbag.
