Police are looking for a group of men involved in the stabbing of a homeless man in Manhattan early Monday morning.

It happened sometime after 3:30 a.m. on the east side of Union Square by 14th Street.

Police say the victim was stabbed in the torso after getting into an argument with the men.

He was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

It's unclear how many people were involved.
