An NYPD officer is recovering after he was hit by a car in Manhattan.

It happened around 3 a.m. Sunday in a parking lot at East 23rd Street and FDR Drive in Stuyvesant Town.

Police say there was a fight between officers and a group of people.

A car then allegedly rammed through the parking lot barricade and clipped one of the cops.

An officer fired off a round of shots during the fight, but no one was hit.

The injured policeman was sent to Bellevue Hospital and is in stable condition.

There's no word yet what caused the fight.

Two people from the fight are in custody with charges pending.
