NEW YORK - The art of beatboxing has been making its way into mainstream music for decades and on Wednesday hundreds will flock to Manhattan for the 7th annual Human Beatbox Festival.

Beatboxers are coming in from all around the world to show their stuff.

Organizers say it's fitting since the city is the birthplace of beatboxing.

"It actually the number one growing vocal art form that was started right here in New York City, so the community started here in New York City, the beatboxing art form started right here in New York City."

The festival runs through Sunday.
