It's a sign of the season as the Grand Central Terminal holiday fair opens up shop.

It's in Vanderbilt Hall and features 40 booths with handmade crafts, jewelry, holiday ornaments and clothing.

Vendors say the fair is a great way to gain exposure and income for their business.

"It's amazing 'cause you get to interact with every walk of life and I have a great customer base now just because of the traffic that comes through here," said one vendor.

"We're excited in particular about this year," said another. "We're supposed to have a cold winter, so I think people are gonna be in the Christmas spirit."

"It's new, it's exciting and I think you'll love it, there are things for men, women, children, gifts galore," said Connie Breslin

The holiday fair is the city's longest-running indoor holiday market.

You can check it out until Christmas Eve.
