Police have identified the woman who was hit and killed by a city bus in Lower Manhattan on Friday.

58-year-old Bella Yury Krementsova was fatally struck at the intersection of Trinity Place and Exchange Alley around 5 p.m.

Investigators say 63-year-old Roger Weckworth was behind the wheel of the QM7 bus heading north on Trinity Place, when pedestrians told him that a woman was pinned beneath the back of the bus.

He was arrested and charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian and causing injury to a pedestrian.
