A Manhattan woman was sentenced Friday after pleading guilty to killing a 4-year-old boy.

The Manhattan DA's office says 29-year-old Kryzie King will serve 22 years to life in state prison.

She pleaded guilty last month to second-degree murder and a long list of assault charges.

Prosecutors say King beat Myls Dobson to death in January 2014.

They say she tied his hands and feet while hitting him with an electrical cord and belt buckle.

King also admitted to locking the child outside in freezing weather and burning him with a hot oven rack.

The boy was in King's care while his father was in jail.
