Eight protesters were arrested Wednesday for blocking the entrance to Trump Tower in Midtown.
Police say the group was advocating for immigrant rights.
Several protesters chained themselves to the front of the building, while others sat down inside the revolving doors.
Some also wore t-shirts affiliated with the advocacy group Cosecha. Its website says the group fights for permanent protection, dignity and respect for immigrants who are in the country illegally.
