A tasty new exhibit will have you screaming for ice cream.

The pop-up Museum of Ice Cream is now open on Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District.

The exhibit runs through the end of August, but tickets are already sold out.

Those who were able to purchase tickets are treated to ice cream, edible helium balloons, a Willy Wonka-type chocolate room and a three-foot-deep sprinkle pool.

Museum organizers say they hope to offer visitors a experience full of nostalgia.

"There's tons of instructional items on the walls that talk about the history of ice cream and what the history of ice cream means to the greater landscape of American culture," said Crystal Anderson of the Museum of Ice Cream.

"We've been waiting for four hours now, but I think it's worth it. I really do," said one museum attendee.

The museum says there are no plans to extend the exhibit at this time.
