Police are asking for help in finding a man who they say shouted homophobic remarks at two men and threatened them with a box cutter in Manhattan earlier this month.

Investigators say he yelled slurs at the two men near 33rd Street and Eighth Avenue on July 11 around 1:30 p.m.

When the two men confronted him, police say he pulled out a box cutter and said he would kill them.

They called 911, and he ran into Penn Station.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
