The Apollo Theater in Harlem is set to honor Prince and induct him into its "Hall of Fame."
Theater officials say the music icon will be officially inducted during its 11th annual Spring Gala on June 13.
A plaque will be installed beneath the theater's famous marquee, near other honorees such as Aretha Franklin and Michael Jackson.
The musician was found dead at his Minnesota home on April 21.
Investigators are awaiting autopsy and toxicology results to determine the cause of death.
