A Bronx man accused of attacking a gay couple at a Manhattan restaurant was convicted Wednesday of assault and attempted assault.

The Manhattan District Attorney's Office says a jury found 42-year-old Bayna-Lekheim El-Amin guilty of both charges he faced.

Prosecutors say El-Amin attacked two men at the Dallas BBQ restaurant on Eighth Avenue in Chelsea last May.

They say he got into an argument with the two men before hitting them with a wooden chair.

Both victims suffered cuts and bruises.

El-Amin was not charged with a bias crime in the case.

He faces up to 15 years in prison when he's sentenced on June 14.
