A huge fire burned through a historic church in Manhattan.

The FDNY says around 150 firefighters battled the four-alarm blaze.

It says flames broke out at the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Sava on W 25th Street near Broadway around 7 p.m.

Four firefighters and the church's caregiver suffered minor injuries.

The church was constructed in the early 1850's and was designated a city landmark in 1968.
