A picture perfect day for kids of all ages to come out and have some fun at the Ninth Annual Street Games in Harlem.

"We came to bring the kids to have a good time and enjoy the weather and the sports games," said one parent.

The annual event is put on by the Parks Department and there's no shortage of games or outdoor activites like hoola hooping, basketball, wheeled basketball, street hockey and a little bit of soccer.

"My son has just got into basketball so I think he's going to have fun," another parent said.

Dozens of kids, younger, older, bigger and smaller poured into the streets for a little bit of outdoor moving.

"It brings the community together, first and foremost. It makes a nice environment for the kids to have. A nice safe environment as well," said another parent. "It's a great thing to learn and experience different things in the community."

Organizers hope the day is just the first step in getting kids to enjoy all the perfect weather days of the spring and summer this year.
