Police have released surveillance photos of three men they want to question in connection with an armed robbery in Manhattan.

It happened just before 8:30 p.m. Friday night at an apartment building on Lexington Avenue near 110th Street.

Police say the men approached two teenage males, ages 16 and 19, as they were waiting for an elevator inside the building.

One of the men allegedly displayed a gun and demanded their belongings.

Police say a scuffle ensued.

The 16-year-old was shot in the knee and the 19-year-old was pistol whipped.

The victims were taken to the hospital.
