Police are looking for two puppies that were stolen from a woman on the Upper East Side Monday afternoon.

Their owner, Suzette Bonsignore, says it happened while she was shopping at the Bed Bath and Beyond store at 61st Street and First Avenue.

The two Yorkies were in her bag, and the bag was in her cart.

A man and a woman took the dogs and ran down 60th Street toward York Avenue.

"In my bag were two puppies that were my family pets. They were very dear to us, we raised them from when they were newborns, and the person who stole them must've thought it was a pocketbook, and they now find that there are two puppies in there, and we want our puppies back," Bonsignore said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crimestoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS, by texting TIP577 to CRIMES, or by going to NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.
