One city restaurant is honoring police killed in the line of duty by giving back to their loved ones.

Old Homestead Steakhouse in Chelsea held a Thanksgiving dinner for the families of fallen police detectives Randolph Holder, Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu.

This is the first Thanksgiving the families have celebrated without their late loved ones.

The restaurant owners say they're honored to celebrate the holiday with them.

"Thanksgiving is giving back, and that's what Mark and I are doing. We're giving back to the people that are important to New York City," said Greg Sherry, co-owner of Old Homestead Steakhouse. "You know don't forget. People, they're out there every day worrying about terrorism, crime in the streets, and you know what? Let's give it up and give it back."

The owners say Wednesday's feast is the start of a campaign to celebrate police officers called "Thank a Cop On The Street."
