Knicks head coach Derek Fisher reportedly was attacked by a former teammate last weekend.
Published reports say Fisher is involved in a romantic relationship with Gloria Govan, the estranged wife of Grizzlies' forward Matt Barnes.
They also say Barnes drove nearly a hundred miles to Los Angeles on Saturday to confront Fisher when he found out Fisher was at his house with Govan.
Fisher missed practice on Monday and the Knicks tweeted that was due to personal reasons.
A team spokesman says Fisher has the full support of the Knicks organization.
Barnes and Fisher were teammates on the Lakers from 2010 to 2012.
