Police are investigating after a woman was found dead in the vestibule of a Manhattan apartment building over the weekend.
The NYPD says officers answered a call of an unconscious woman Sunday morning inside a building located at 223 West 16th Street in Chelsea.
When they arrived, they found 38-year-old Kiersten Cerveny, a dermatologist from Long Island.
She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The medical examiner is trying to determine the cause of death.
Sources tell NY1 Cerveny's death may have been drug related, and do not suspect foul play.
There were also marks on her neck, but sources say they may have been the result of recent surgery.
