Drivers who rely on the FDR drive are in for a bumpy ride this week.
The city Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing the Manhattan roadway.
As a result, officials are warning drivers about rough road conditions and intermittent lane closures in the overnight hours this week.
The work will be taking place on the southbound section of the FDR drive between 48th and 42nd streets.
