A new move by the Republican party looks to circle the wagons in the highly divided Presidential nomination race.

The Republican National Committee has challenged the field of GOP candidates with a pledge not to run as a third party in 2016.

Republican front-runner Donald Trump has repeatedly threatened to do just that, should he not get the nod.

The pledge also asks candidates to endorse the GOP nominee no matter who it is.

Jeb Bush and several other candidates have already committed to sign the pledge, but Trump has not.

The RNC has a private meeting scheduled with Trump at his campaign headquarters in the city today.
