Endangered animals lit up the Empire State Building Saturday.

Their 400-foot images were hard to miss.

More than a dozen endangered species, ranging from big cats to manta rays, were projected onto the side of the historic building.

The display was called "Projecting Change," and its creators say was an effort to raise awareness about animal extinction. The event is affiliated with the upcoming film "Racing Extinction," a Discovery Channel documentary about animal conservation.
