A 58-year-old man is in critical condition after a hit-and-run in Harlem.

Police say the victim was riding his bicycle on West 145th Street around 10 p.m. when he was struck by a red sedan that just kept going.

The collision sent the man's bike into the air, and it struck a minivan which stopped at the scene.

"All of a sudden I see a bike flying, and it hit me on the windshield. And then when I stopped, I went back to look, and someone was in the street, laying down hurt," said a witness at the scene.

The victim is now recovering from surgery at Harlem Hospital.
