A Brooklyn pizzeria run by the Grimaldi family has been named the best in the country by tripadvisor.com.

Juliana's, located at 19 Old Fulton Street under the Brooklyn Bridge, won the top honors.

Juliana's used to be called Grimaldi's, and was run by Patsy and Carol Grimaldi, but in 1998, they sold their business and the name to a customer. Grimaldi's then moved to a new location nearby on Front Street.

A new restaurant was established in Grimaldi's original location. It was named Juliana's after Patsy's mother. It opened in 2012.

Two other pizzerias located across the street from each other on Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village also made the top 10. Keste was number 4, and John's of Bleecker Street was number 10.

The travel site looked at the quality and quantity of the user reviews to come up with the rankings.

Despite not having any pizzerias in the top 10, TripAdvisor named Chicago the best city to get a pizza. New York came in second, followed by New Haven, Orlando and San Francisco.
