FAO Schwarz is set to close its doors on Fifth Avenue later this month, but it might not be gone for long.
A spokesperson for Toys R Us, which owns FAO Schwarz, says they are looking at a space in Midtown but have not signed a new lease agreement.
FAO has faced several bouts with bankruptcy and possible closures over the past few years.
Its current store on Fifth Avenue is set to close July 15.
