The NYPD is asking for help identifying a man they say snatched an phone from a woman riding the J train.
Officials say the man seen in this surveillance video approached the rider on April 17 as the train approached the Chambers and Centre Street station in Manhattan.
Police say that's when he grabbed her iPhone, before running off the train.
Police are describing the man as being about 24 years old, 5 foot 9 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds.
