L train shutdowns are giving commuters between Brooklyn and Manhattan major headaches this weekend.

The line is shut down between Lorimer Street in Brooklyn and 8th Avenue in Manhattan for maintenance and repair work..

Trains are still running between Lorimer Street and Rockaway Parkway.

The service changes will be in place for the next four weekends as well.

Riders we spoke with say its having a big impact on their lives.

"It's kind of annoying and now we have to figure out other ways. I was late to work this morning, like an hour late, just trying to figure it out. And something that was supposed to take me 10 minutes took an hour," one rider said.

"It's kind of a bummer on a nice day like this. I  mean I had to walk over to get to work, so that wasn't too fun. But it's a nice day, so it didn't bother me too much," another said.

"It's very annoying. I'm not going to be going to Manhattan for a while now. Probably just stay in my apartment and not leave because I do not want to pay for a very expensive cab," another person said.

Full service is set to resume at 5 a.m. Monday.
