Henry Hudson Parkway is getting a facelift, but that means drivers will have to plan alternate routes.

The Department of Transportation will begin closing sections of the parkway next week as crews break ground on $4 million project to pave a 3.5-mile stretch of roadway.

The affected area stretches in both directions from Kappock Street in Bronx County to the Westchester County line

Starting Monday night, the northbound lane will be closed from Kappock Street to 232nd Street from 11 p.m. through 6 a.m. Intermittent single lane closures will be in effect during the day.

Once the northbound lane is complete, crews will begin work on the southbound lanes.

The project is expected to wrap up in June.
