Two auxiliary police officers have been arrested for allegedly robbing and handcuffing a food delivery man in East Harlem.

Police say James Kiernan and Jordan Martinez met the 48-year-old victim in the lobby of an apartment building on East 102nd Street shortly after midnight Tuesday morning.

Police say they showed him police badges and got with him in the elevator to the 14th floor.

When the delivery man got to the listed apartment, he was told no one there ordered the food.

When he got back to the elevator, police say the men handcuffed him and stole $180 in cash, his wallet and an iPhone.

Police say they left him handcuffed in a stairwell and ran away.

The two men have been charged with robbery, burglary and assault, among other charges.
