A Pablo Picasso masterpiece could set a record at auction this spring.

Christie's is offering "Women of Algiers, Version O" for an estimated $140 million.

The colorful work was completed in 1955, and is part of a 15-work series by Picasso.

It goes on the block May 11.

The current record for highest art price bought at auction is held by Francis Bacon's "Three Studies of Lucian Freud", which sold at Christie's for $142 million in 2013.
