A man is in serious condition after a stabbing in the Inwood section of Manhattan.

Police say it happened around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday when the victim left a building on Broadway near 213th Street. 

They say two men approached him and slashed him in the chest, taking his cellphone and some cash. 

Police say the two attackers then took off in a gray sedan.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

No arrests have been made so far.
