Tenants of a Manhattan building say they've been stuck without heat and hot water for more than a week.

The 60-unit building on East 110th Street has also been without gas for two days.

Con Edison says firefighters turned the boilers off last Monday because of high carbon monoxide levels. The utility then found a gas leak.

With the snowstorm and consistently low temperatures, tenants said their frustration is growing.

"I don't know who's fault it is," said one tenant. "All I know is, I'm cold, I'm hungry, I want to take a nice hot shower. I'm tired. I'm freezing in here."

"I'm just fed up. And then with the blizzard storm, that made it worse. It just felt like we was trapped in," said another.

"My daughter is Type 1 diabetes, young lady, 23. She cannot afford to be sick. She's high-risk. She will die," said a third. "The other tenants in here, they have babies in here, too."

Tenants said they've been keeping warm with electric heaters, but they use too much electricity and are a fire hazard.
