The marina at the heart of Battery Park City is under new management.
The neighborhood's board voted to award Brookfield Property Partners with a 10-year contract to operate North Cove Marina.
The board opened the bidding process after the previous contract expired at the end of December.
In its proposal, Brookfield says it plans to add a wide variety of programs targeting a broader audience, including sailing school and summer camps.
It also says it will invest hundreds of thousands of dollars in infrastructure upgrades, beautification and sustainability.
