Following a cold front last night, it has now turned quite a bit colder across all of the northeast. High pressure will nudge it's way into the city for tonight and tomorrow. With clearing skies our temperatures will settle into the mid 30s overnight. For Thursday that will mean a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the mid 40s. A persistent westerly flow will bring in some of the cold air that will settle over the middle U.S. As we go into the weekend temperatures will struggle to even reach 40. Meanwhile, we'll keep an eye on a few coastal systems but as of now it looks like they will stay far enough away to have any major impact on our weather.
