NATIONWIDE -- In the wake of their controversy surrounding racial discrimination and profiling, a faux Starbucks coupon is making the rounds on social media. 

The coupon states "We're Sorry" and offers a free drink to anyone who is African-American.

It reads in part, "We know we can do better. Starbucks values all people of color and we are working on employee sensitivity training. The best dialogue starts over a cup of coffee and we'd like to buy you one."

The company has stated that the coupon is not real, according to Business Insider. 

On May 29, the company will be closing its stores for racial-bias training.

The men who were arrested told the Associated Press on Wednesday that they feared for their lives.
