"I think art really has the ability to tell a story. It has the ability connect people. I really like to use bold colors. And I hope the sign catches people's attention," said Sophia Yeshi who is Wells Fargo's first-ever artist in residence.  Yeshi is talking about the impact she'd like to make in her residency with Wells Fargo. She is a graphic designer in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Her first creation for Wells Fargo, a sign for businesses to hang in their windows showing that they are open. Yeshi will now consult with entrepreneurs to improve their branding as their recover from the pandemic. She says the work is important to her because her two of her grandparents ran small businesses. Yeshi's residency will run through December. Click here to download Yeshi's design.
