People looking to slow down in the city that never sleeps now have a place to do just that.

It's a bar in Queens that serves drinks infused with a component known as CBD.

Adriaen Block in Astoria claims to be the first in the city to add cannabidiol, or CBD, to its cocktails and even some of its food.

CBD is becoming increasingly popular across the country. While it comes from a hemp plant, it has limited THCs, which means users won't get high.

"We all do have stressful jobs. So I would say CBD definitely gives you a calm sensation, mellowing down after heavy duty, heavy work," said Zsolt Csonka of Adriaen Block.

Csonka says nearby doctors are sending their patients to Adriaen Block to try out CBD drinks before they are certified to use medical marijuana.
