A Brooklyn neighborhood has a new piece of public art to help unite the various ethnic groups that make up Crown Heights.

A new mural was unveiled  Sunday during the Third Annual One Crown Heights Festival.

The mural highlights the neighborhood's cultural diversity especially the bonds between its black, Caribbean, and Jewish residents.

The festival is a cross-cultural project designed to increase community bonds, promote positive exchanges and respect.

The event is part of a larger project funded by the City Council to support a series of community conversations and special events.
