Some children who have faced major hurdles in their young lives are marking a major milestone.

Meet the Class of 2018  from the Helen Keller Services for the Blind's Children's Learning Center. The Center provides schooling and resources for kids five and younger who have been diagnosed with visual impairments and other disabilities.

On Friday, fourteen of those kids put on caps and gowns and sang for their friends and families to celebrate their very special day.

The Gaith family were on hand to celebrate their little one's graduation. The parents say "it's super cute. So we always look for these moments of normalcy and so this is one of those moments for us to be able to see our child achieve something, to make it through the program."

And now that they've graduated, these kids will be going on to attend public and private elementary schools throughout the City.
