Police are investigating attacks — one week apart — on two Jewish men in Brooklyn. One attack is being investigating as a possible hate crime, the NYPD said.

The first one happened on April 14 around 3 a.m. on Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights.

Investigators said a stranger approached the man and asked him if he wanted to fight and then punched him several times in the face.

The second attack happened Saturday on Rutland Road and Schenectady Avenue in East Flatbush.

Police said 52-year-old Jewish man was attacked by a man who called him a "fake Jew" before choking and assaulting him, leaving the victim with a black eye, bruises, and broken rib.

The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating Saturday's attack. No arrests have been made in that case.

Police on Monday evening released photos, seen below, of the man they said attacked the victim in the Saturday attack.

State Assemblyman Dov Hikind of Brooklyn said a $50,000 reward for the capture of the suspect has been offered by "a noted philanthropist from Los Angeles."
