A state assemblyman wants a firefighter accused of making anti-semitic comments to be removed from his neighborhood firehouse.

FDNY member Joseph Cassano made headlines for racist and anti-Semitic tweets that caused him to resign as an EMT back in 2013.

But he was just sworn into the fire department last week.

He is now assigned to a Borough Park firehouse, a Brooklyn neighborhood highly populated by Orthodox Jews.

Assemblyman Dov Hikind is calling on Mayor Bill de Blasio to intervene.

He says if nothing is done, he will join Holocaust survivors in protesting the assignment outside of the firehouse.

Cassano is the son of former FDNY Commissioner, Salvatore Cassano.
