Drivers who say they're being hammered with excessive fines for unpaid tolls are reportedly suing the MTA.

According to the New York Post, an attorney for the drivers says the cashless system rolled out on bridges and tunnels last year is glitchy, and can fail to properly collect tolls from E-Z Passes.

One plaintiff in the class-action suit accumulated more than $6,000 in fines after being repeatedly charged for a series of unpaid tolls costing just $8.50 for each trip.

The MTA has declined to comment on the lawsuit.
