LONDON -- The Spice Girls have confirmed plans to work together for the first time in six years.

Baby, Ginger, Posh, Scary and Sporty Spice plan to reunite, but there are no details of upcoming projects. In a statement, the group said new ventures will embrace the original essence of the Spice Girls and reinforce messages of female empowerment.

The 90's chart-topping group last reunited at the 2012 Olympics in London.
